The Bi-positional Actuator BA1204 consists of two fast and reliable actuators for variable application. The short setting time of 25ms enable the actuator to cycle up to 20 tims each second. Due to the mass inertia of the actuator arm, 18 cycles per second are assumed realistic.
The ultra compact SMD-board driver is mounted on the rear end of the actuator. The board only needs an external supply voltage of 12 - 15VDC at 250mA. The buffered signal input of the actuator works with a voltage 4 - 25VDC. A current free circuit enables the user to run the actuator with TTL or CMOS devices.

The BA1204 is equipped with a glued dielectric mirror, which endures up to 15 Watts optical power.

You may mount the BA1204 on the optical table using the 5.5mm hole on the sub-panel. The BA1204 is now ready to switch the beam horizontally at an angle of 90°.

All parts are assembled and tested. DO NOT remove the arm from the shaft, the setup might be mis-adjusted.

The BA1204 are shipped with a special transport safety. Please following the instructions carefully:

Loose the lower right screw with the Allen Key (supplied) and remove the screw completely.
Rotate the arm CCW until the arm is oriented between the two screws on the right side.
Put the screw back and tighten it. Do not loose the grub screws of the shaft.
